Nature Guiding study for Norwegian Coast

Just starting new commission to examine the development of nature guiding in the coastal region of the County of Sogn og Fjordane.  This will look specifically at the municipalities mentioned below but will also consider the rest of the coast within the County.  Norway has little in the way of this provision at the moment with the local population maintaining a close connection with their environment.  The potential for creating the equivalent of countryside rangers in this area will be examined.  The coastline of this County is spectacular, with outstanding landscape and nature conservation values and developing a ranger service may be one way that visitors to this area can be better connected to these values.
